The Battle of Mogadishu, known as the Black Hawk Down incident Oct 3-4, 1993 was the most horrific battle since the Viet Nam War. One hundred operators held off 1,000 of the Samalia’s War Lord’s tribe. Over 70% of the US force was wounded or killed. Scott flew 33 wounded out while taking fire from AK-47s and RPGs.
